On Sunday 30th August Brendan Kavanagh travelled to Longford to compete in a Half- Marathon and had an excellent run finishing in 1h24:55 Brendan will be traveling to Berlin shortly to compete in the Berlin Marathon

On Saturday 29th of August the senior men travelled to Kilmore Wexford for their open 10km Road Race Chris O’Neill had a great run to finish in 6th place in a time of 34m36s closely followed by Kevin Fenlon in 7th place in a time of 34m42s Pat Kavanagh came home in 19th place and Lyndon Barcoe completed the team in 41st place in 40m45s to help the team to 3rd place. On Sunday 16th of August Simon O’Dwyer finished an excellent 7th in the Leinster Senior Men 10km Road Championship in Rathdrum Wicklow in a PB of 36m53s

Also on Sunday 16th of August the Club Masters Men had a great day at the All-Ireland Championships in Tullamore winning two Gold Medals & one bronze. Patrick Mahon won the 055 Long Jump with a leap of 5m72. the longest jump of the day it would have won any of the age groups. Joseph Wolfe won the Gold medal in the 040 5km walk in a time of 27m15.68s.Joe also competed in the 800m finishing 9th in a time of 2m22.46s. Marty Kelly won the bronze medal in the 055 400m in a time of 72.04s. Denis Cormack finished 10th in the 045 1500m.
